And the shots just keep on rollin…This is the third in what will be a series of “Training Days” with myself and some of Newcastle’s finest Wedding & Portrait Photographers Karen McGowran and David West trying out our skills in portrait photography in Newcastle.
This week’s model was the bang tidy Lucy (you had to be there to get the bang tidy joke). In all seriousness as you’ll see from the images she’s stunning, check out those big brown eyes. She’s such a professional girl and we’re already looking forward to working with her again. This week’s location was Newcastle’s Quayside, around the area of The Baltic Mill, an awesome setting for what was our most technically challenging shoot of the year. Mixing flash and ambient light can be tricky at night working with slow shutter speeds and the odd ghost! Being wedding photographers in Newcastle our wedding season is just about starting now so these training days are really pushing us to the max, train hard fight easy as they say. A big shout out to the crew at nd-make up, Nick, Dan & Marie are all round top people and always deliver stunning make up for each and every shoot.
Here’s a few from the night.
Finally I just wanted to say a big thank you to Karen’s hubby Neil who is currently injured but still managed to help out despite having to use a crutch, top bloke.
If you’re a model wanting some portfolio shots, a male or female who likes my work and wants similar doing with themselves please get in touch. Hair and Make Up can be included in the Newcastle area. Phil Nunez Photography specialises in wedding photography in Newcastle and the whole of the UK. I also do portrait photography in Newcastle and surrounding areas, get in touch to discuss your shoot here.
